Lynx Entertainment signee, Kuami Eugene has stated that any lady who intends to be with him should have a tough skin since his line of job requires lots of interaction with women.

He noted that the occurrence could be a breeding ground for misunderstanding, especially when his lover sees him with different women, for which reason he has decided to stay single.

“You expect me to flaunt you and I don’t, then it hurts you sometimes, I hang around with this person or that and it hurts you so much, I do not want to put anyone through that. Right now, I know dating me will be very difficult. You should have tough skin to date me,” he said.

According to Kuami Eugene who was speaking on Lynx TV’s ‘Stripped’ hosted by Sika Osei recently, he is very certain that his partner may be loved but will also among other things face criticisms and disdain from other women who desire her place.

“Everyone, in a relationship wants to have one person to themselves, but if you wanna have me to yourself, it’s going to take some sacrifices because people won’t just allow you to.

“They won’t allow you the freedom to have Kuami for yourself. You’ll get a lot of hatred, people are going to hurt you, and they will come at you,” he said.

The 2020 VGMA Artiste of the Year winner said there was equally the likelihood for people to spread false rumours to cause confusion and after weighing all that has decided to stay single to avoid putting anyone through that emotional stress.

In December 2022, Kuami Eugene dropped a new single titled, ‘I Feel Nice’, the third single from EMPIRE’s new compilation album Where We Come From (VOL. 1).
