Standard Chartered Bank Ghana launches Road to Anfield promo

Standard Chartered Bank Ghana PLC last Sunday launched the 2023/2024 edition of its annual Road to Anfield Campaign.

This year’s edition will see the bank which is the longstanding Official Main Partner of English Premier League (EPL) giants Liverpool FC (LFC) offer its customers the opportunity to win an all-expenses paid trip for a couple to visit the Anfield Stadium, the home grounds of Liverpool.

The launch happened on the sidelines of a viewing party organised at the Labadi Beach Hotel for Liverpool’s EPL opener with Chelsea which ended in a 1-1 draw.

How to participate

In an interview, the bank’s Head of Wealth Management, Dr Setor Quashigah, said the promotion would run for three months and be open to new and existing customers of the bank. The customers can participate by downloading the SC Mobile Application on the iOS and android store, create new accounts and make deposits to earn points.

During the three-month campaign, customers will be rewarded in monthly draws with Liverpool merchandise.  There will also be a final draw to select the overall winner, who wins the ultimate prize of watching Liverpool FC play live at Anfield in the UK with their partner. 

She said the customer with the highest number of points at the end of the draw would win the opportunity tour the Anfield stadium, Liverpool museum, visit the club’s training grounds and meet some Liverpool players as well as watch a game.

“We are very passionate about our partnership with Liverpool and we know our clients are also happy with the partnership,” she said.

“We want our clients to experience the Liverpool fever that is why we keep doing it because our clients asked for it and we said ‘why not’? We will take you all the way to experience Anfield, experience the players and come back with stories about Standard Chartered Bank.”
