Little Gasparilla Island is a little bit south of Sarasota, Florida, and is accessible via boat, or the provided passenger ferry when renting the place. The gulf barrier island creates a quiet, calming escape, that’s still not terribly far from major destinations in the sunshine state. Remote paradise can be found without even boarding a plane.
