Speaking to the media during a site tour at the company’s residential developments, Oyarifa Park and Ayi Mensah Park, she said the company was committed to building communities in Ghana that were secure, vibrant and a joy to live in.

She said “Ghana was our first country of choice although we visited nine countries to explore business opportunities”.

“We ultimately concluded that the first place we wanted to invest in would be Ghana because people are very hospitable- very friendly and there is a deep connection.

We saw a gap and an opportunity in housing infrastructure and we sought to close that gap by not just building houses, but overall, to build communities that were secure, vibrant and a joy to live in,” she said.

“We are delighted to demonstrate versatility, resilience, ingenuity and excellence in all of our projects,” she added.

Ms Mills said 300 completed homes have been handed over to homeowners.

The company, she said, was confident of the quality of homes it built, such that it gives a 12-month home warranty for non-structural concerns and 36-month warranty for any structural highlight that needed attention.

According to Ms Mills, IndigoHomes has successfully made the slogan, ‘Love where you live’ a reality for the homeowners and residents who chose to call AyiMensahPark and OyarifaPark developments, home.

IndigoHomes, which is a BlackIvy project, is currently present in Ghana, Kenya and Tanzania.
