Topping the list is France’s Bernard Arnault, who has recently overtaken Elon Musk as the richest person in the world. In third place is Jeff Bezos, the former CEO of Amazon. 

Rounding out the top 10 are a who’s who of business tycoons and innovators, including Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Larry Ellison, Steve Ballmer, Larry Page, Sergey Brin and Francoise Bettencourt Meyers.

These rankings are updated daily at the close of trading in New York, providing a snapshot of the world’s most prosperous individuals on any given day.
