SINCE the release of her maiden album, G.O.O.D Vol.1 in July last year, Afrobeats singer Essi Music has been working very hard to maintain her grip on fame.

Tomorrow, April 9, Essi Music, real name, Maame Esi Awotwe is headlining a concert dubbed, Essi Music Rituals with Pacs Band at 7pm at Becky Kay Bar & Restaurant in the Central Region.

The upcoming show promises to treat patrons to a good time with music across diverse genres.

Backed by the eclectic Pacs Band, Essi Music is expected to warm her audience with songs from her 14-track G.O.O.D album including Mama Africa, John Boy, Over Now, The Story, Light Up and Wonkoa. 

The concert which is a collaboration between Alordia Promotions and Westcoast UK, will also witness performances from Naana Blu, Loyce, Aunty GH, Minab & Akasii.

Signed by Alordia Promotions and managed by Shocks Media, Essi had a good year in 2021 when her single, Low, garnered lots of numbers on various digital streaming platforms.

In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, the 2011 TV3 Talented Kids show winner said she embraced music fully right from her childhood till her days at the University of Ghana’s Arts and Music Department as a student.

“After Talented Kids, my life revolved around education, recording at home, and doing covers of songs. In addition to the covers, I released my song, Dreams in 2015, which was written by the late Castro.

“It has been years of learning and training myself to be a better artiste and I can assure patrons who will make their way to Essi Music Rituals with Pacs Band  will experience the growth of my craft over the years,” she added.
