I only think about myself when I’m performing -Kwabena Kwabena

Since he came unto the music scene about 15 year ago, Highlife singer Kwabena Kwabena’s stage performance has been on point.

Patrons at various shows where the Aso hitmaker performed can attest that he doesn’t only give off his best but always seen really having a good time on stage, fully soaked in the act.

According to Kwabena Kwabena, the only thing that matters to him on stage is himself because he enjoys what he does and always want to have fun.

He told Graphic Showbiz that the style has worked for him all these years since the audience always “flow” with him, seeing just how much he is enjoying himself.

“The secret behind my success on stage is that I have a lot of fun while performing regardless of whatever I am going through and get the applause for a good show when I am done,” he said.

Born George Kwabena Adu, Kwabena Kwabena’s breakthrough came in 2004 when he recorded his debut album Aso. In 2007, the award- winning musician who has worked with musicians such as Kontihene, Asem, Sarkodie, Samini among others released his second album Dabi which also did very well.

His third album, Daakye which came out in 2013 had hit songs like Bue Kwan, Adult Music, Bye Bye just to mention a few.

Songs on his latest album, Fa Me Saa launched this year include Afraid to Lose You, Focus, Awero, Minpina, Regina, Fingers, Sweetie and Ride Or Die.

 Kwabena Kwabena has a strong passion for philanthropic work and believes in his Ghanaian environment. This passion spurred him on to set up the Kwabena Kwabena Save A Life Foundation.

He also achieved a number of local and international awards, some of which include, VGMA Best Vocal Performance and Best Songwriter of the Year.
