An awards night to recognise players and managers will climax a day’s activities to celebrate Bechem United’s third place finish in the just-ended betPawa Premier League scheduled for Sunday July 1 at Bechem.President of the Bechem United Football club, Kingsley Owusu Achau, confirmed to Graphic Online that the team intends to thank God for helping them finish third in the league for two consecutive seasons.He acknowleged that it was not an easy feat for a small club like Bechem United to be doing so well and rubbing shoulders with the giants in the game and acknowledged that it couldnt have come without the help of God.”For two consecutive years we have finished third in the league, and we are very satisfied so want to celebrate our players, supporters and the management on July 1 and the activities will be a thanksgiving service, a float in Bechem and in the evening there will be a dinner and awards night. He also thanked everybody including the players, management and supporters of the club for their tireless effort in ensuring the success of the club and said the supporters will not be left out of the awards.
