Perez Muzik releases Mibobaahe

HAVING grabbed two awards at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA)—Songwriter of the Year and Male Vocalist Performance, Perez Muzik is definitely in the best of moods to release more music.

And as he is doing that, he has just come out with a single titled, Mibobaahe.

The song released on June 9 was recorded during his “Move Service” on May 1 this year and produced by Sponkeys. Its music video was produced and directed by Phusion Studios.

Perez Muzik tells Graphic Showbiz that Mibobaahe, which means my hiding place, my refuge or my fortress is inspired by Psalm 91 in the Bible.

Mibobaahe which can be found on all streaming platforms is a worship song. It is a gospel medley which is suitable for all worship sessions.

“It is an encouraging scripture that helps every Christian when you are bitter or in despair or when life is overwhelming. It encourages you and lifts you up and gives you confidence in God.

“Almost all the lyrics in the song are from Psalm 91, I just added a few touches here and there,” he stated.

According to Perez Muzik, real name Frank Tagoe, the song was recorded during his praise and worship event dubbed Move Service on May 1 this year.

“We are coming out with a couple of songs from now till August, I will have my annual concert Glorified on August 27 at the Victory Bible Church International, Awoshie, and hopefully release an album on that day.

Ministering, Perez Muzik said, “Every Christian should hold on to their faith. For Christians, we know that our end is going to be beautiful so hold on to your faith.”
