GOSPEL singer, Alexandra Aboagye is out with her latest song, You Are Good ahead of her upcoming annual Ruach concert scheduled for later this month.
You Are Good, released on Wednesday, June 7 talks about God’s awesomeness and goodness in the lives of believers.
The latest worship tune was recorded live at last year’s Ruach concert which took place at RRC Assemblies of God Church, Roman Ridge in July.
“It has pleased the Lord that we share this blessing of a song with you. Recorded at our last edition of Ruach. You Are Good seeks to keep us in constant reminder of God’s unfailing goodness to us regardless all life happenings. So we trust that you will be blessed. Kindly share please. God bless you richly,” she posted on her Facebook page when it was released.
Alexandra may not be on top rung of the ladder of Ghanaian Gospel music at the moment but the budding talent who is a vocal coach, composer/arranger, music director and music producer is writing a good story with her works.
The trained Biochemist from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and an old student of Wesley Girls’ High School told Graphic Showbiz that the value of Gospel music as an evangelism tool has not been fairly assessed.
According to her, the lack of that understanding is compelling some Gospel acts to lose focus on making impact but rather concentrate on making hits.
“With my educational and professional background, I was a bit skeptical about going into music but I had people who encouraged me to boldly take the decision.
“They believed that God set me up on this path to use my story to inspire people and I have no regrets. It is more satisfying now when people tell me about how my music changed their lives since that’s the goal,” she added.
