Pre-tournament favourites and host, Atonsu kissed goodbye to this year’s MTN Ashantifest community football tournament after winning just one of the three matches in Zone 4.

As the host, Atonsu were highly tipped to be among the communities to progress from the Zone, but they failed their home fans.

Instead, it was Santasi’s who’s skilled were unmatched as they beat all teams in the group to top with nine points.

Kwadaso who also qualified to the next stage of the competition with six points also won two games and one draw while Adum were the whipping side who failed to pick up a single point in all the three matches.

Atonsu’s Richmond Antwi who scored five during their 7-2 victory against Adum leads the goalking with six goals followed by Emmanuel Owusu Boakye of Kwadaso who also scored a hat-trick against Adum while Alhassan Chibsah of Santasi has two goals.
