Musician Kwabena Mophasa is eyeing the overall winner in the Cues and Lyrics reality show currently Joy Prime.
Mophasa is currently the show`s favourite and has taken an early lead in the stage performance, costume, stage craft and votes . Right from the audition stage through to weeks of electrifying performances he has proven to be the best among the lots.
He is the show`s favorite and has been tipped by many to win the show and walk home with a juicy package of GHC50,000 in cash prize, a recording contract for two singles, airplay worth GHC 30,000, and a trip to Dubai.
Cues and Lyrics is aired every Sunday on Joy Prime at 8 p.m. His love for the arts and entertainment dates back to senior high school days when he was one of the best dancers at the time.
He contributed immensely to the art and entertainment fratenity and won the hearts of many students both juniors and seniors.
Years after school, it is not surprising to see Mophasa`s love for the arts and entertainment industry getting better over time. He now combines music with dancing and does it so pertfectly like the likes of Usher and Chris Brown.
It is true when they say, painter paints pictures on canvas, but musicians paint their pictures on silence. The sensational young talent, known in real life as Anthony Afoakwa has over the years been able to dynamically combine music with dance in a way that is full of energy and enthusiasm.
He appeared on the show as a rapper and got the opportunity to perform raps songs like, Sarkoie`s greatness, Edem ft Kwaw Kese and Sarkodie`s You dey craze, Jay Dee`s Alampain and Sarkodie ft Black Sherif`s Country Side.
With his incredible stagecraft and melodious voice, coupled with his impeccable vocal ability, he was influenced by the advice and recommendation from the judges to sing, so he started singing till he found his vocal range with Shaggy`s strength of a woman becoming the climax of his performances
He has since performed songs like Kojo Antwi`s Brebre Anowaa and Inner Circle`s Alalalalalong with Doreen Andoh expressed her contentment and love with the performance.
