Ghana Premier League champions, Medeama SC will host their Togolese counterparts ASKO de Kara in an international friendly at the Cape Coast Stadium on Friday, August 4, 2023.
The match, according to the club, forms part of preparations towards their TotalEnergies CAF Champions League campaign which will begin from next month.
It will also serve as pre-season preparations for the team ahead of the 2023/24 league season.
The Tarkwa-based side have been drawn to face Nigerian side, Remo Stars, in the preliminary stage of the CAF Champions League.
The draw of the inter-club competition which took place in Cairo on Tuesday has pit the two clubs of the rival countries against each other.
The Ghanaian champions are expected to open their campaign against Remo Stars at the Cape Coast Stadium before traveling to Nigeria for the return leg.
Medeama won the 2022/23 league title for the first time in their 21 years of existence.
