Kenpong Academy enlists expertise of Laryea Kingston and George Amoako

Fast-rising football outfit Kenpong Academy has successfully secured the involvement of two seasoned professionals in the sport.

Former Black Stars winger, Laryea Kingston, and George Amoako, a former member of the Kumasi Asante Kotoko management team, have joined the academy’s ranks. Their considerable experience is set to significantly enhance the team’s capabilities.

For Mr. Kennedy Agyepong, known as Kenpong, the addition of these two individuals aligns with the academy’s strategic goal to bolster both its technical and administrative capacities.

Notably, the academy had already introduced two expatriate coaches, whose arrival a few months ago has notably elevated the team’s performance.

Kenpong expressed his confidence in the expertise of the newcomers, stating, “These are individuals with proven track records and exceptional qualities. Their involvement is sure to elevate the academy to new heights.”

Speaking about Laryea Kingston, Kenpong acknowledged his significant technical growth since retiring as a player. He highlighted Kingston’s potential to excel, noting, “Laryea has shown his prowess over the years, proving that he possesses the ability to deliver exceptional results.”

Regarding George Amoako, Kenpong recalled their previous collaboration during the Herbert Mensah administration in 1999, praising Amoako’s competence. He shared, “My past experience working with George Amoako speaks volumes about his capabilities. His familiarity with my expectations makes his addition to the team truly welcome.”

Furthermore, the well-equipped academy also includes the expertise of accomplished physiotherapist, Dr. Prince Pamboe.

Situated in Winneba, this contemporary academy has already positioned itself as one of the most reputable institutions in the nation and beyond.
