Musician and social activist, A-Plus is warning wives to protect the sanctity of their marriages by desisting from searching through their husbands’ phones.

Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz recently, A Plus, who is known for his rather controversial stance on issues said it was not in the place for wives to do such things since they are likely to find out things that will cause trouble for the marriage.

He, however, supported husbands to go through the phones of their wives to save their marriages.

 “When a man goes through his wife’s phone, he wants to protect the marriage, but when a woman goes through her husband’s phone, she wants to collapse the marriage because she will find out very uncomfortable things on it,” he said.

According to the Aben Be Bom singer, women are struggling to survive in marriages in this generation because of the attitude of being in competition with men which should not be the case.

A Plus recalled how the older generation had blissful marriages, and peaceful families and homes and yet same cannot be said in many marriages today even with the “one man, one wife” idea of marriage.

A Plus said the concept of monogamous marriage was introduced by the West forbidding men from marrying more women but are shoving down on Africans that same sex marriage is ideal.

He disclosed that he doesn’t have a second wife because he is not financially strong to take care of two homes but will encourage men who are economically worthwhile to marry more wives.

“I have not married a second wife because at the moment, I don’t have money to be in a polygamous marriage but I fully support that. Sometimes, I hear the women argue that they can also be with more husbands if the opposite sex is doing it and I want ask, ‘can you survive with two husbands or more’?” he stated.
