Lawson Herbal Ghana Music Awards Europe 2023 celebrates Ghanaian music

The second edition of the Ghana Music Awards Europe (GMAE) was a celebration of Ghanaian music talents, when it came off at Salle Atrium Route De Cormeilles in Paris, France recently.

The event, which was hosted by Adom FM’s Jerry Justice brought together music stars from Ghana and the diaspora, in recognition of their outstanding contributions in music.

There were performances by Nana Acheampong, Piesie Esther, Samuel Sey, Kro Leo, African Superstar, DJ Kobi, Ande Rida, Dannie Lampo and Geo Wellington.

The event was attended by Jean-Hughes (Deputy Country Director for Ghana at France Embassy in Ghana), Mr Njyi Akwasi Kuranchie (Director for Atinka FM), Fashion designer, Osebo the Zaraman, and blogger Zionfelix.

One of the highlights of the night was a tribute to celebrate music legend, Nana Acheampong, who received an honorary award for his remarkable 30-year music journey, marked by releasing 30 albums.

Nana Acheampong also crowned the night with an energetic performance, taking patrons back to his peak days.

The annual awards ceremony, sponsored by Lawson Herbal, recognises and celebrates the immense talents and contributions of Ghanaian artistes who are making remarkable impact both home and abroad.

Gospel artiste, Piesie Esther was crowned the overall Artiste of the Year.
