Mabel Okyere marks 10th anniversary with Anuonyam concert

Gospel musician Mabel Okyere has announced her ‘Anuonyam’ Concert’ in celebration of her 10th anniversary in the gospel industry.

The free admission concert is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 29, at the Pentecost Life Assemblies of God, Maakro Branch, located at Abusuakruwaa Junction.

Artistes publicised for the event are Hannah Marfo, Piesie Esther, Ernest Opoku, ACP Kofi Sarpong, Kwaku Gyasi, Jack Alolome, Empress Gifty and Selina Boateng.

In a conversation with Graphic Showbiz, Mabel Okyere said the upcoming 10th-anniversary concert is in appreciation of her progress as a gospel artiste.

“It has not been an easy journey for me, but God has been good to me, seeing me through the tough times. I am happy to be alive, fulfilling the dreams I had 10 years ago when I set out on this journey.

“10 years in an industry that many people gave up is no joke and I want to say a big thank you to everyone who has contributed to my career in one way or the other,” she said.

Mabel Okyere announced her presence on the gospel music scene in 2013 with her first album Me Were Mfi Da. The album had the popular ‘Biribi Hia Me’ song.

Just after releasing her maiden album, Mabel took a long break which she explained to Graphic Showbiz as a trying moment and a test of her faith.

She has collaborated with some gospel musicians including Ernest Opoku, Brother Sammy and Jack Alolome, among others.

She recently dropped Anuonyam as a testimony of what she has been through and the song is currently on music digital platforms such as Apple Music, Audiomack, Boomplay, etc.
