Aidoo to be flown to Spain for treatment

Black Stars defender, Joseph Aidoo, is due to be flown out to Spain to undergo further treatment.

Aidoo who is currently on international assignment with the Black Stars at the United States of America sustained an injury during their friendly game against Mexico last Saturday.

This means that the Celta Vigo player has been ruled out of the game against USA later on Tuesday at the GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee.

The former Inter Allies player who was replaced by Alidu seidu during the game against Mexico was said to have sustained an ankle tendons injury.

Team doctors of the Black Stars have recommended an immediate treatment of the 28-year-old and was expected to fly out of camp to his club in Spain for further treatment.

Aidoo has been capped 12 times for the Black Stars after making his international debut in March 2019.
