I’m human and you should know by now that we are not perfect in this life -Shatta Wale

Today, October 17 is award winning Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale’s birthday and taking a reflection of his life, he admits he’s human with many imperfections.

In a Facebook post earlier today, the Taking Over artiste said people should focus on his music and enjoy the “sweet melodies and find happiness in your life”.

Shatta Wale asked his followers to celebrate the day with him in love and not hate adding, “Be part of the shatta story and don’t be late !!”

After today I want to stay calm and do what God asked me to come do for mankind …please and please you can be my friend if only you don’t come into my life to torment Me.

Yes, I am human and you should know by now that we are not perfect in this life.so please kindly try hard to pay attention to my sweet melodies and find happiness in your life..

I have been thru the worst things but I trod on because of my belief in the most high God and that spirit has made me realize the most precious gift we have in this world ..

It’s my birthday and I want you to start celebrating with me in love but not hate.

Be part of the shatta story and don’t be late !!”, Shatta Wale wrote.

The reigning Ghana Music Awards (GMA-UK) Artiste of the Year winner is no stranger to controversies.

For a long time, Shatta Wale, who deems himself as the ‘saviour’ of Ghanaian music has been relentless in his call for what he believes are the right things to be done to develop Ghana’s music industry.

However, his rather “raw” way of tackling some of these issues have not gone down well with some industry players.

Perhaps, his birthday message is a silent call to his critics to accept his flaws.
