Although her songs are not huge like that of a host of A-list gospel artistes, Jayana is making a steady progress on the Gospel music scene.
And just before the Christmas bells start sounding in December, Jayana is out with a new song titled, Celebration on November 24.
Recorded by Peewezel, Celebration talks about God’s everlasting kindness, His goodness and His mercy to mankind.
“God continues to shower on us the kind of love which is far beyond human understanding and imagination. A love that knows no boundaries, a love that never disappoints and that is why I have every reason to praise and worship God,” she stated.
Jayana is very optimistic that the song will do well not only for the quality production but the message of gratitude that many listeners relate to.
Born Jemima Annor- Yeboah, Jayana started her music career by participating in the maiden edition of the Stars of the Future TV music talent show in 2007, with Irene Logan emerging the winner.
She has worked with some notable gospel artistes including Joyce Blessing and Celestine Donkor.
Jayana won the Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2020 Ghana Urban Gospel Music Awards and 2021 Ghana National Gospel Music Awards respectively. She also won Best Female Vocalist at Emerging Music Awards in 2019.
She was the Brand Ambassador for Amanex Company Ltd, a registered Ghanaian Manufacturing and export company of Air Fresheners, Hand Sanitizers, Liquid Soap, and Body Perfumes.
Jayana, who is currently the ambassador for Ageless Day SPA, a full-service Spa has to her credit songs such No Fears, I Believe, Awurade (God), He Reigns, Fire In My Heart, It’s You, Rise Up, Who Are You among others.
