Get Kojo Antwified concert tomorrow

HE is the Maestro and for decades, Kojo Antwi has never failed to transport patrons to his Christmas Eve concert on an exciting music journey and he is doing it again this year.

This year, the 24th Night with Kojo Antwi concert dubbed Get Kojo Antwified, comes off at the University of Professional Studies (USPA) Auditorium at Madina, Accra on Sunday, December 24 and it promises to be as electrifying as always.

Talking to Graphic Showbiz, Kojo Antwi said Get Kojo Antwified will feature other acts who will share the stage with him.

“I am not performing alone on the night. I have invited other artistes to be part of the gig. Patrons are sure to be treated to fantastic music from Kwabena Kwabena, Akwaboah, Jeff  Bogolobango from Cote D ’Ivoire, Hezron from Jamaica and many more and I know it will be a very good night.”

According to the Adade Anoma hitmaker, his annual gig which has featured some of the top artistes in Ghana and beyond has always been an unforgettable night and this year’s will be another blast.

“Artistes including Reggie Rockstone, Nana Quame, Samini, Nana Yaa, BukBak, Kontihene, Wutah, Kwaw Kesse, Efya, Becca, King Promise, Fameye, Kwabena Kwabena, Krymi, Sefa and many more have performed on 24th Night with Kojo Antwi”, he added.

Also, respected international acts such as UK and Jamaica’s  Steel Pulse, Cameroun’s Richard Bona of , Salif Keita of Mali, Cote d’Ivoire’s Freddie Meiway, Aisha Kone and Monique Seka, King Mensah of Togo, Flavour of Nigeria and Sonti Ndebele of South Africa among others have performed on the unique platform.

Kojo Antwi’s annual shows are eagerly attended by the cream of society; captains of industry, opinion leaders, influencers and politicians, arbiters of style and showbiz aficionados.

The burgeoning middle class as well as keen music lovers from all walks of life book tickets in advance to enjoy the musical mastery of Mr. Music Man.

Kojo Antwi has over 22 albums to his credit. They include Tom & Jerry, Anokye, Mr Music Man, Groovy, To Mother Afrika , Superman, Afrafra, Don’t Stop the Music, Akuaba, Densu, Alpha (Compilation) and Tattoo.
