This is my last performance- Black Sherif says at Afro Future

Fans of Ghana’s Black Sherif and music enthusiasts will have to wait until further notice before witnessing his infectious stage presence and aura again.

The Simmer Down crooner left Afro Future festival attendees in awe last night when he announced that his performance marked a temporary hiatus from the stage.

The reigning VGMA Artiste of the Year explained that the break is essential to allow him to dedicate more time to the studio for the creation of a masterpiece for his upcoming album,.

During his energising almost two-hour live band performance at Afro Future, Black Sherif told revelers “This is my last performance until I drop my album. From here, I am going back to the studio. Thank you all for the support. I love you.”

Day one of Afro Future witnessed spectacular performances from some of Ghana’s finest acts, including seasoned Reggae artist Samini and the vocal queen Efya, who delivered an unforgettable musical and stage performance experience to the delighted crowd.

The festival also featured special appearances by Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck and Mavin Records signee Crayon, who added extra excitement to the event and left fans wanting more.

Beyond the music performances, Afro Future showcased a night of culturally inspired fashion and various side attractions, including a food bazaar, face painting, games and cheers at the El Wak Sports Stadium which played host to the celebration.

AfroFuture is a celebration of Africa’s diverse culture and the vibrant work of African creatives and entrepreneurs.

The festival is designed to elevate and highlight the thrilling and thriving millennial talent in Africa by introducing an interactive event that teaches, explains and explores various cultures through a pioneering approach.
