Of course, it’s raining ‘thons’ with the Guinness World Record in Ghana and popular media personality, Deloris Frimpong Manso aka Delay doesn’t want to be left out of the euphoria.
With Afua Asantewaa Aduonum having made attempt at setting a new sing-a-thon record last week, and an ongoing cook-a-thon by Abdul-Razak Failatu, Delay is set to for a kiss-a-thon record.
In a facebook post yesterday, the host of Delay show asked Ghanaians to nominate her kissing partner to embark on her new feat.
“I want to do a Kiss-A-Thon, nominate my kissing partner. Please get me a good kisser”, she wrote.
Getting a partner should be an easy pick for Delay considering that Kumawood actor, Yaw Dabo had already declared plans to do a kissa-thon.
In a recent interview with the media in Tamale to support Failatu on her ongoing cook-a-thon record, Yaw Dabo said he was up for a kissing marathon and needed a partner.
The pair of Yaw Dabo and Delay will be interesting for a kissa-a-thon as many of comments under the said posted nominated him.
Apart from Yaw Dabo, other names such as rapper Amerado Burner, Kumawood actor and Fashion entrepreneur, Osebo The Zaraman came up as best partners for the kissa-thon project.
Martin Elorm Dogbo wrote under the comment section, “Amerado Burner as a thank you for the best song in 2023 Kweku Ananse”.
Since Afua Asantewaa finished her attempt at longest cooking marathon by an individual, a number of Ghanaians have equally declared their intention on embarking on similar projects.
Notable among them are media personality, Abeiku Santana who wants to do talk-a-thon and actress Adu Sarfowaa who has set February 9-14 for her Speech-a-thon.
