The chairperson of the Black Queens management committee, Gifty mensah , has guaranteed the players will be paid their due bonuses before their match against Zambia this month.
The Black Queens , who have successfully qualified for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) and are on the edge of securing a spot in the 2024 Olympic games, have been awaiting payment of their bonuses.
“For some time now, the black queens have been getting their payment . The difference is that we are owing the Black Queens and Black Princesses and we have already spoken to them,” she addressed.
“Black Queens will be paid all bonuses before their next match,” she announced, specifically referring to the Olympic qualifier against the Zambia. Each player is to be given an amount between $7,500 and $10,000.
