Today, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice-President and flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is set to reveal his campaign team for the 2024 general election during the party’s meeting in Accra. The team’s composition aims to blend experienced figures like Dan Botwe, former Minister of Local Government, with fresh energy. Botwe, known for his political acumen, will serve as the National Campaign Chairman, alongside seasoned individuals like Fred Oware and Peter Mac Menu, who bring rich campaign experience. Other anticipated members include Nana Akomea for Communications, Dr. Ben Abdallah Banda for Zongo Development, and Frederick Opare Ansah for strategic input. Anthony Karbo and Sammi Awuku are also expected to join, injecting vitality into the campaign effort. The team’s selection underscores the party’s determination to assemble a formidable lineup capable of securing a third consecutive victory in 2024, aligning with the NPP’s campaign vision and strategy.
