National Communications Team Member of the NDC, Mr. Harrison Kojo Abbah stated that the reshuffle made by the president is not for the betterment of the economy, not to correct any mess but just for the their political gains.

During an interview on the Morning Dew on AIT TV with Fafali Akosua Purple on February 21, 2024, Mr. Abbah argued that it is the president’s practical strategy for the NPP to win the elections.

He criticized the President for being reluctant for the past 7 years until when the economy is in a mess and citizens are over burdened with taxes then to decide to reshuffle just to win the elections.

“Where we are right now as a country, we have nothing called leadership. Ghana has been placed on an autopilot because the president at a particular point as my brother will say he is a coach and he decides who plays at what time and at the other end, he will be like he has now listen to us and did the reshuffle because of us”.

“This is where the country has gotten to. The country is now being use for jokes, too much comedy and there’s no seriousness to take us from the mess, even the president himself in their own premises, alluded to the fact that the economy is offhand and he can’t manage the economy, therefore he is waiting for the next leader to come and manage the economy”.
