Frimpong Manso is new coach of Bofoakwa Tano

Newly-promoted Ghana Premier League club Bofoakwa Tano have recruited ex-Ghana international Frimpong Manso to strengthen the technical team ahead of the 2023/24 league season.

The club made the announcement via their Twitter handle on Friday, July 14, 2023.

“We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Coach Frimpong Manso as our new Head Coach to lead our football club into an exciting new chapter! He comes in with an impressive track record and a wealth of experience on and off the Field. Let’s Welcome Coach FM. #BofoAba,” the statement read.

He signed a two-year contract with the Sunyani-based club after parting ways with Nkoranza Warriors.

Coach Manso, 64 has a worth of experience in coaching having had stints with Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Techiman Eleven Wonders and Kenpong Football Academy.

He takes over from Fuseini Abubakar, who guided the team to secure promotion back to the Ghana Premier League.

Bofoakwa were promoted back to the premiership after more than a decade in the Division One League.
