Nominations have been open for the 3rd edition of Ghana Disability Excellence Awards with the main date to be communicated later.

Ghana Disability Excellence Awards aims at honouring  and recognising  those who work tirelessly to reduce social discrimination and uphold the human rights of people with disability.

Some of the categories are Extraordinary Disability Achiever in Journalism, Extraordinary Disability Achiever in Sports, Extraordinary Disability Achiever in Entrepreneurship, Excellence in Social Participation Award, Excellence in Media Personality Advocacy Award, Best Disability Reporting station, Excellence in Employment Opportunity Award and Excellence in Education Award

The others are Excellence in Disability Training Award, Excellence in Disability Health care Award, Excellence in Innovation Award, Excellence in Technology Award, Disability Campaign of the Year Award and Student Advocacy group of the year Award.
