Poor road construction at Kasoa Akweley has led to many accidents in the community. According to Mr.Kofi Yeboah who is a driver, he said, “the road is in a very bad condition which is not helping him as a driver. The potholes is destroying his cars which has led him to always repair the cars which cost him lots of money.”

Christiana who is a resident also said that, “the drivers in the commuinty charges them huge transportation fees which is not right for her. The bad road condition is causing more harm than good”

She added that the roads are also dusty which is not safe for breathing and the dusty roads gives her headache and cold sometimes. She urged the government to come to their aid to help them fix the road.

Mr. Evans Bentum, a member of the assembly unit committee, said that, “Poor road construction is one of my gratest problem in the community. The bad condition of the road has been there for over some years. Through the support of the District Assembly and the patnership of the Landlord association in the community, they have been able to manage the condition of the road.”

He further acknowledged the support from the residents and appealed to government to fix their roads
