FIVE VICTIMS IN THE NKAWKAW CRASH HAVE BEEN LAID TO REST

The five school children who tragically lost their lives in a gory accident at Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region was laid to rest on Friday, February 23, 2024.

The deceased were Gafatsi Marcus (3 years), Asare Joseph (9 years), Kwasi Nyarko Larry (12 years), Achey Binney (4 years) and Jerome Harmenu (7 years).

The one week observation of the teacher who also died in the accident was proceeded at the burial of the deceased children.

The remaining 17 children who were injured in the accident, has been treated and discharged from hospitals in Nkawkaw and Koforidua.

The fatal accident occurred on February 15, 2024, involving an Ampea Memorial school bus and state-registered vehicle for a District Chief Executive traveling on Accra Kumasi highway.
