Vice-President Donates Laptops to KNUST

The Vice-President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has fulfilled a personal pledge by donating 100 laptops to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) during its 57th congregation.

The laptops were presented by the Vice-President’s spokesperson, Dr. Gideon Boako, to the Vice Chancellor of KNUST, Prof. Rita Akosua Dickson, and the Registrar of the university.

Dr. Gideon Boako expressed Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to supporting education and technological advancement in Ghana. The donation of the laptops is aimed at enhancing the learning and research capabilities of students at KNUST, a renowned center of academic excellence.

On behalf of the university, Prof. Rita Akosua Dickson and the Registrar expressed their gratitude to Vice-President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his generous donation. They acknowledged the significance of the laptops in facilitating digital education and empowering students with the necessary tools for success in their academic pursuits.

The laptops will contribute to bridging the digital divide and promoting a more inclusive and technologically advanced learning environment at KNUST. The university looks forward to leveraging these resources to further enhance its reputation as a leading institution for science and technology education in Ghana.
