Team news: Jordan Ayew leads Black Stars as captain for Central African Republic clash

Chris Hughton has entrusted Jordan Ayew with the captaincy for Ghana in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Central African Republic, set to unfold at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium at 4 pm today.

The dynamic Crystal Palace forward, currently in sparkling form, will lead the team in lieu of his brother, Andre Ayew, who will begin the match from the bench.

Guarding the posts is Lawrence Ati Zigi, with Alidu Seidu, Baba Abdul Rahman, Alexander Djiku, and Joseph Aidoo comprising the defensive line.

Elisha Owusu secures his first start since the international friendly against Switzerland in November of last year. He will partner with Abdul Salis Samed in the midfield, while Osman Bukari and Jordan will command the wings.

Upfront, Inaki Williams will spearhead the attack, with Mohammed Kudus orchestrating play from behind.
